About

The Flannel Project’s Mission

The Flannel Project is committed to providing immediate and compassionate support to those affected by suicide, with a special focus on the veteran and construction communities. Through resources like the SOS Card, we offer practical assistance and emotional guidance during the critical early stages of grief, ensuring survivors have access to the services they need most. Our aim is to ease the overwhelming burden that families and witnesses face in the aftermath of loss.

We believe that healing begins with community. By fostering meaningful connections and offering specialized services, we create a space where survivors can find comfort, support, and understanding. Our initiatives are designed to not only assist with day-to-day needs but to build lasting support networks, encouraging survivors to navigate their grief with strength and resilience.

Inspired by personal experience and driven by a commitment to positive change, The Flannel Project strives to raise awareness about suicide’s impact and work toward preventing future tragedies. We are dedicated to ensuring that no one faces this painful journey alone, empowering survivors with the tools and community they need to heal
